About Us
We are an interdisciplinary team of researchers and artists who are finding creative ways to unite scientific research and lived experience through the performing arts.
Our current project brings together researchers studying neurodegenerative conditions (Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and dementia), artists, and the affected community to:
1) facilitate knowledge exchange and empathy using music and movement; and
2) co-create multidisciplinary performances based on scientific research and lived experience.
The project is led by Dr. Naila Kuhlmann, postdoctoral researcher at McGill's School of Physical and Occupational Therapy.
